Web Client Now Live — Play Immortal Realm in Your Browser

Immortal Realm is now active on the ClassicUO Web client list. You can log in and play directly from any modern browser — no download, no installer, no extra setup.

How to play in your browser

Click the Web Client button at the top-right of any page on this site, or visit play.classicuo.org/?shard=91 directly.
Sign in with your existing Immortal Realm account. Your characters, gear, gold, civic rank, and patron status all carry over — the web client and the desktop client connect to the same shard, the same accounts, the same world.
The first launch downloads the UO art and sound assets to your browser's local storage (roughly 500 MB to 2 GB depending on what you load). Subsequent launches start in seconds.

Why this matters

The web client makes Immortal Realm playable from anywhere a modern browser runs — work computer, school computer, friend's machine, a phone in a pinch. Players who were curious but didn't want to install ClassicUO can now log in and look around in under a minute.

For existing players: nothing changes. The desktop client still works exactly as before, and you can switch back and forth freely between the two. Your real IP follows you to the web client too, so the in-game IP limiter and audit logs don't see the proxy — they see you.

Discord linked roles

Players who log in via the web client with a Discord-authenticated session also get their Discord profile auto-paired to their shard account on first login — no /discord/verify round-trip needed. Civic rank, patron status, account age, and Time Tokens earned automatically push to Discord as role-connection metadata, which means Discord roles gated on those values (Verified, Patron, Veteran, etc.) just work.

Already a Discord user but never linked? Visit your profile page on this site and click Link Discord — same flow, manually triggered.

Common questions

"Will I lose my account if I clear the browser cache?" No. Characters and gear live on the shard's server. The cache is only the local copy of the art files. See the Web Client guide for the full breakdown of cache management.
"Does incognito mode work?" No — private browsing limits storage too aggressively to fit the asset bundle. Use a normal browser window.
"Can I play on the desktop and web client at the same time?" One client per character at a time, but you can switch between them. Same account, same characters, same shard.
