Step-by-Step

1. Daily Ledger

Open the Daily Ledger gump first. See the day's 6 tasks. Plan your session around hitting them. Most tasks complete passively as you do other things — you don't have to dedicate a session to dailies, but knowing what they are shapes which content you pick.

For full mechanics, Daily Ledger.

2. Bank Check

Quickly verify nothing critical is on your character that should be in the bank. Especially after a Felucca run, after a death, or after major loot.

Type bank near a banker. Move things to safety.

3. Civic Order Service

If you're in an Order, do one service action. Examples:

Immortal Realm Daily Checklist: What to Do Each Login reference table
Order Service Action
College Examine a player; treat a malady; perform Last Rites at a gravestone
Ledger Witness a contract; file an attestation; co-sign a Crown Writ at the Civic Authority gump
Velvet Hand Take a slot at a scheduled Alms scene, or use a Civic Authority capability you have rank for (Bribe Guard / Lockpick Cell / Smoke Bomb / Writ Smoke / Name Scrub / Target Redirect / Raid Deed) — the Hand keeps work off the Ledger's records, not on them

One action per session keeps your service progress steady toward the next promotion.

4. Watch for Convoy Broadcasts

If you're in a major city when a convoy departure broadcasts, walk over. Convoy escorts are some of the highest-quality time-per-gold content, especially with the time-in-zone payout structure.

For mechanics, How to Run Convoys.

5-7. Web Tool Checks

Open the website tabs you bookmark:

  • /market — vendor listings update; spot good deals.
  • /auctions — auction activity; track items you're watching.
  • /bounties — active Writs; spot hunting opportunities.

Each takes about 30 seconds. The data is live.

8. The Commons

Open the Commons gump in-game. Scan the Needs tab — is there a malady relief request near you? A grave you could leave flowers on? A guild recruiting?

The Commons is where the shard's social demand surfaces. Engaging once a session is high-leverage.

9. Active Questline Progress

If you have an active quest (Ashen Pact, Britannia Murders, Blood Market, Rivalry, etc.), do one step. Quests pay token rewards on chapter completion; small steps add up.

10. Session Goal

Whatever you set for the session — a build skill push, a dungeon run, a crafting batch, a PvP duel session. This is the meat of the daily play.

Patterns by Player Profile

The Casual Player (15-30 min sessions)

  1. Daily Ledger.
  2. Web tool check.
  3. One quest step or one social action.

The Engaged Player (45-90 min sessions)

1-7 from the full checklist. Skip 8-10 unless time permits.

The Hardcore Player (2+ hour sessions)

Full 10-step checklist plus deep engagement on the session goal.

The Crafter (variable)

  • Skip 4 (convoys) usually.
  • Replace with: vendor restock, material gathering, commission processing.

The PvPer (variable)

  • Skip 8 (Commons) usually unless coordinating.
  • Add: Felucca run, champion spawn check, guild coordination.

The Civic Member (45-90 min)

  • Heavy on 3 (Order service) — multiple actions per session.
  • Heavy on 8 (Commons Provider availability).
  • Lighter on combat content.

Common Mistakes

  • Skipping the Daily Ledger because "it's just dailies." It's the highest-leverage item.
  • Doing everything every day. Burnout. Pick what fits your session.
  • Not checking web tools. Live data; high-value information at low time cost.
  • Treating Order service as optional. Without service, you don't promote. Even one action per session keeps you moving.
  • Trying to do this whole list on day 2. The checklist is for established players. New players follow Your First Day and Your First Week instead.

When You Don't Have Time

If you only have 5 minutes today:

  1. Daily Ledger gump open + spot which task is closest to complete.
  2. Complete that one task.
  3. Exit.

If you only have 15 minutes:

  1. Daily Ledger.
  2. One short civic Order action OR one convoy if broadcast.
  3. Quick web tool check.

If you only have 30 minutes:

  • Add one quest step or one combat session goal to the 15-minute version.

The checklist scales down gracefully. You don't have to skip days because you don't have time for the full routine.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to do all of this every day?
No. The checklist is a maximum, not a requirement. Pick the items that match how you play. Most engaged players do 4-6 of these consistently and skip the rest. The checklist exists so you can see what's possible, not to make daily play feel like a job.
How long does the full checklist take?
30-60 minutes if you blitz through. 2+ hours if you engage substantively with each item. The point is to build a routine that takes 30-45 minutes of focused play and produces meaningful daily progress; you choose how deep to go on each item.
Is this only for engaged players?
No — casual players benefit too. Even doing just the Daily Ledger and a market check is a sustainable daily routine that takes under 20 minutes. The full checklist is for players who want to maximize engagement; the abbreviated version still progresses you.
