Common Mistakes

  • Hoarding currency without spending. Most shops have items worth getting; spend in tranches.
  • Treating cosmetic rewards as worthless. Cosmetics + titles are how the social layer recognizes you.
  • Trying to convert one currency to another. No exchange exists.
  • Skipping rank rewards. Order rank items are exclusive; you can't get them outside the rank.
  • Pursuing every reward equally. Pick the rewards aligned with your play; ignore the rest.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between a title and an achievement?
An achievement is a recorded milestone — completing X earned you the achievement. A title is a public display name you can wear, granted by hitting specific accomplishments. Achievements are private records (visible to you and on your character profile); titles are visible to other players. Many achievements unlock titles; some don't, and some titles unlock without a single named achievement.
Are rewards account-bound or character-bound?
Varies. Gold and PvP Tokens are tradeable items. Time Tokens, Frog Coins, bells, Marks of Trust (Beast), River Marks (Fish), Herbarium Scrip, Archive Marks (Lost Recoveries), Legendary Fragments, and Commendations are all account-bound counters with no transfer path. Achievements and titles — character-specific (mostly). Cosmetic and decoration items vary case by case. The table below notes binding behavior for the major reward categories.
Where do prestige items live?
End-of-arc rewards from collection systems (Frogsworth, King Whiskers, Rhoswen Greencoat for Beast Collection, Silas Rivers for Fish, Elyra Thorne for the Living Herbarium, Archivist Thalen for Lost Recoveries). Order rank rewards (College and Ledger have rank-gated cosmetics). Achievement-tier title deeds. Quest completion rewards from major arcs. The pages here cover the major sources.
